OUR TEAM

Jesjo is made up of teams of incredible diverse, talented, and passionate individuals. However, the best way to get to know Jesjo is to look at the owner and founder of our business.

21 years ago, it was founded by John and Suzy Nicholas. John took care of work on site, and Suzy, although a qualified pilot at the time, took care of the admin and their 2 children, Jessie and Jonathan.

John's career in the building industry has spanned the last 44 years, and has had experience with all facets of the industry, from studying engineering, to site work, directing a major hardware distribution group, to finally putting that experience into practice with Jesjo!

This has cultivated a passion for creating exceptional living spaces, that, by the wise words of an old mentor (retired architect), are focused on the idea that we are "building homes for PEOPLE, not just buildings."

This led John to further studies in interior design, construction management, project management, as well as property development and investment. All these added insights have created a holistic and encompassing view of the entire industry, allowing John and Jesjo to put excellence and passion into each project and living space they create.

And the people behind each project are really the driving force for that passion. Although a winner of multiple Masterbuilders awards, the real victory for John has been a life time of clients who have all said we love LIVING in our new HOME. That's what it's all about.

This passion for people doesn't end at work for John though, as through Jesjo and individually, he has become a key member in many initiatives on the South Coast, such as years of service to the NSRI, rate payers association, community security and development, missionary work, and many many more.

Through the missionary work, a cry for work and jobs was noticed in the people by John, and so, part of his businesses ethos is to try uplift and create jobs for as many people as possible.

And so, every Monday morning John starts the day with this message to his team, "We are all part of a team, each with a different function but equally as important. Together we are stronger, and this is true for us as a business, as a community, and as a country."  

And so, Jesjo is excited to share part of this spirit, and share the next steps in our journey with you!

So it's finally time to introduce the beating heart of Jesjo! The lovely ladies who make everything in this company happen! 👸

From dealing with teams, clients ,and orders, there's nothing these women can't do, and we are so grateful to have them as part of our Jesjo family! 🫂
